Voice2Script Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 20, 2026
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION PROVIDER
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Voice2Script (the "App"). The "Application Provider," "Developer," "we," "us," or "our" means the person or legal entity identified as the seller or application provider for Voice2Script on its official Apple App Store product page. Current privacy and support contact methods are available through the official Voice2Script website and the support link shown on that App Store product page.
This Policy applies to the App itself. It does not govern Apple, iCloud, device backups, email or messaging providers, cloud-storage services, external artificial-intelligence services, websites, or other applications or destinations that you choose to use. Those parties handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
2. PRIVACY-FIRST LOCAL DESIGN
Voice2Script is designed as a local, account-free audio recording and transcription tool. The App does not require a Voice2Script account and does not operate a Developer-controlled server for your recordings, transcripts, folders, summaries, or AI Bundle files. The App has no advertising network, third-party analytics SDK, tracking SDK, or Developer-controlled cloud synchronization. The Developer does not automatically receive or retain the recordings, transcripts, summaries, prompts, exports, titles, or folders you create in the App.
Your App content is ordinarily stored inside the App's private container on your iPhone or iPad. Audio capture, Apple Speech transcription, and the optional Apple Intelligence report-summary feature are designed to operate on the device. Technical safeguards reduce risk, but no storage system can guarantee absolute security against every device compromise, operating-system defect, unauthorized physical access, loss of credentials, or user-directed disclosure.
3. INFORMATION YOU MAY CREATE OR STORE
Depending on how you use the App, the App may locally process and store:
audio recordings and associated technical information, including duration, file size, recording date and time, audio format, and local file path;
recording titles, folder assignments, favorite status, deletion status, and other organization choices;
original on-device transcription text, later edits to that text, transcription status, selected language, and error information needed to explain a failed operation;
optional report summaries created through Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework on supported devices;
editable AI Bundle instructions, report-format selections, and locally generated text bundles containing those instructions and the original transcript;
exported audio or text files that remain temporarily or persistently inside App-managed storage until removed by the operating system, an App update, deletion, or another storage-management event;
App preferences, playback-route choices, and operational settings; and
cumulative recording time, Voice2Script Basic allowance information, StoreKit product information, and verified Voice2Script Pro entitlement status.
Recordings and transcripts may contain personal, confidential, privileged, proprietary, biometric, educational, employment, health, financial, or other sensitive information about you or other people. You decide what to record, enter, edit, retain, and share. Avoid recording or storing highly sensitive information unless it is necessary, lawful, and appropriately protected.
4. INFORMATION THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY COLLECT
Through the App, the Developer does not automatically collect or receive your recordings, transcripts, summaries, AI instructions, folder names, recording titles, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, browsing activity, payment-card number, or communications. The App does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across applications or websites owned by other companies.
Apple may make aggregated App Store, purchase, performance, crash, or diagnostic information available to the Developer according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies. Apple controls that processing. The App does not add the substance of your recordings or transcripts to a Developer analytics service.
5. MICROPHONE ACCESS AND AUDIO RECORDING
The App requests microphone access when you choose to record audio. Microphone input is used to create the recording you requested. The audio is saved locally in the App's private storage and is not sent to a Developer transcription server.
You can deny or later revoke microphone access through iOS or iPadOS Settings. The App cannot create new recordings without microphone permission, but existing locally stored recordings and transcripts may remain available unless you delete them.
The App may continue an active recording while it is in the background when the operating system permits. A visible system indicator may show that the microphone is in use. The App does not begin recording merely because it is opened; recording requires a user action.
6. ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTION AND APPLE LANGUAGE RESOURCES
When you direct the App to transcribe a recording, the App uses Apple's Speech framework and requires on-device recognition. The recording is processed on the device to create text. A language model or other speech resource may need to be downloaded from Apple before first use. Apple controls the delivery and availability of its operating-system resources under Apple's terms and privacy practices.
Transcription can contain mistakes, omissions, merged statements, punctuation errors, or incorrect names, numbers, and technical terms. The App preserves the original transcription separately when supported by the current data model so that later edits or accepted summaries do not silently replace the source used for Original Text and AI Bundle exports. You remain responsible for comparing important text to the audio and correcting errors before relying on or sharing it.
7. OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE APPLE INTELLIGENCE
On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled and the required on-device model available, you may ask the App to generate a report-summary draft from transcript text. Voice2Script uses Apple's SystemLanguageModel on the device for this feature and does not substitute a Developer-hosted or third-party network AI service when the on-device capability is unavailable.
The generated text remains a draft. It may omit facts, misstate context, or produce inaccurate language. The App shows the draft for your review and requires an affirmative action before it replaces the editable transcript. The preserved original transcription remains available for Original Text and AI Bundle exports, subject to the App's current feature behavior.
Apple Intelligence availability depends on device hardware, operating-system version, language, region, model readiness, and Apple settings. Apple may change its frameworks and model behavior. Review Apple's privacy information for any system-level processing outside the App's control.
8. AI BUNDLE EXPORTS AND EXTERNAL AI SERVICES
The AI Bundle feature prepares a text file locally. The file contains user-reviewed AI instructions followed by the preserved original transcript. It does not contain the original audio recording. The App displays a privacy notice before presenting the iOS Share Sheet each time you initiate AI Bundle sharing.
Voice2Script does not select an AI provider, upload an AI Bundle automatically, or control what happens after you choose an external destination. If you send the bundle to an external AI application, website, email provider, cloud drive, or other recipient, that destination's privacy policy, data-use rules, retention practices, security, training settings, and geographic processing will apply to that copy. Review the transcript for confidential or sensitive information before continuing.
9. APP STORE PURCHASES AND BASIC ALLOWANCE
Voice2Script Basic includes a cumulative recording allowance. The App stores cumulative completed recording time in the device Keychain to enforce that allowance. The record contains a number representing used recording time, not the audio or transcript content. Because Keychain behavior differs from ordinary App files, this allowance record may remain on the same device after recordings are deleted or after the App is removed and reinstalled. Deleting content does not restore previously used Basic minutes.
Voice2Script Pro is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase through Apple StoreKit. Apple processes purchases, restores, refunds, payment information, taxes, storefront information, and Apple Account authentication under Apple's terms and privacy practices. The App requests product information and evaluates Apple's verified entitlement information so it can unlock Pro access. The Developer does not receive your full payment-card details through the App.
10. WHEN INFORMATION LEAVES THE APP
Your content leaves the App only through a process that you or the operating system initiates, including when you:
share, email, message, AirDrop, print, copy, or save audio, transcript text, a summary, or an AI Bundle;
select Files, iCloud Drive, a cloud-storage provider, an AI service, or another destination in the system Share Sheet;
paste copied transcript text into another application;
create or restore a device backup that includes App data; or
voluntarily send information to the Developer or another support provider through a website, email, or other support channel.
After information is provided to Apple, a recipient, or a destination you select, that party controls its processing, retention, security, and deletion. Voice2Script cannot confirm that a recipient received, opened, retained, secured, or deleted a shared item. Review recipients, destinations, attachments, and content before completing any transfer.
11. BACKUPS ICLOUD AND USER CONTROLLED EXPORTS
Voice2Script does not provide a Developer-operated cloud account, CloudKit synchronization, or remote backup service. The Developer does not keep a recovery copy of your App content.
Apple's iCloud Backup or a computer backup may include third-party app data depending on your device, Apple Account, available storage, backup configuration, operating-system behavior, and Apple's policies. That process is controlled by you and Apple, not by Voice2Script. The App does not promise, monitor, or verify that a particular recording or transcript was backed up or can be restored.
You are responsible for periodically exporting important recordings and transcripts to a secure destination you control, confirming that exported files can be opened, and protecting the destination account and credentials. An export may create additional copies that are no longer managed by the App.
12. RETENTION DELETED ITEMS AND PERMANENT DELETION
Active App content remains locally available until it is edited, moved to Deleted, permanently deleted, removed with the App, lost with the device or App container, or affected by operating-system or backup behavior.
When you delete a recording, the App ordinarily moves the recording and its associated transcript information to the Deleted area. Eligible items remain there for up to 14 days unless you restore or permanently delete them sooner. The App may purge expired items when it runs. Permanent deletion is intended to remove the associated local structured record and App-managed recording directory, but it cannot delete copies that you previously exported, copied, sent, printed, or stored in a device or third-party backup.
Deleting the App ordinarily removes its local container and may make unexported content unrecoverable. Keychain allowance information, Apple transaction records, device backups, and external copies follow separate retention rules. Because the Developer does not possess your local App content, the Developer generally cannot view, retrieve, correct, export, or remotely delete it for you.
13. SECURITY AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The App relies on Apple's application sandbox, device storage protections, permission system, and transactional local storage. These safeguards do not replace your responsibility to maintain a strong device passcode, protect your Apple Account and destination accounts, install security updates, limit physical and shared-device access, and review what you export.
If another person can unlock your device, use your device backup, access a shared destination, or receive an exported file, that person may be able to access your content. Avoid sending recordings or transcripts through insecure channels. No security method or electronic storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. PERMANENT DELETION, DEVICE SECURITY, AND BACKUPS
When a user selects “Delete Permanently,” Voice2Script removes the recording’s audio files, associated transcript information, and related App-managed records from the App’s current local storage. The recording can no longer be accessed or restored through Voice2Script. Permanent deletion does not, however, guarantee that every possible copy has been destroyed. A separate copy may continue to exist if the recording or transcript was previously exported, copied, shared, emailed, messaged, saved to Files or another application, included in an iCloud or computer backup, restored to another device, or otherwise stored outside Voice2Script’s active local container.
Voice2Script does not operate a Developer-controlled cloud backup service and does not independently upload recordings or transcripts to the Developer. Nevertheless, Apple’s device-backup services may include Voice2Script application data when iCloud Backup or a computer backup is enabled. Those backups are controlled by the user, Apple, the applicable backup settings, and Apple’s retention and security practices. Deleting an item from Voice2Script does not necessarily remove a copy already contained in an earlier backup. Users who do not want Voice2Script data included in iCloud Backup should review their device’s iCloud Backup settings and disable backup for Voice2Script where that option is available. Users should also review and delete old device backups when appropriate.
Voice2Script relies on Apple’s application sandbox, file-system encryption, Data Protection, device passcode protections, and operating-system deletion procedures. These protections substantially limit ordinary access to App data, but no application can promise that deleted information is unrecoverable under every circumstance, including from an existing backup, an exported copy, an unlocked or compromised device, specialized forensic methods, or access obtained through the user’s Apple Account or credentials. Users handling highly sensitive material should maintain a strong device passcode, protect their Apple Account with two-factor authentication, consider Apple’s Advanced Data Protection where appropriate, control physical access to the device, and confirm the deletion of any backup or external copy they previously created.
15. RECORDING OTHER PEOPLE AND SENSITIVE CONTENT
Recording and interception laws vary by location and circumstance. Some jurisdictions require consent from every participant; others impose notice, confidentiality, workplace, educational, healthcare, court, or professional restrictions. The App does not determine whether recording, transcribing, retaining, or sharing a conversation is lawful.
You are responsible for obtaining all consent and authorization required by law, contract, professional duty, policy, or relationship before recording or disclosing another person's voice or information. Do not use the App for unlawful surveillance, harassment, stalking, discrimination, defamation, intimidation, or infringement of privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights.
16. CHILDREN
The App is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13 or any higher minimum age required by local law. The Developer does not knowingly operate a service that collects children's recordings or transcripts through a Developer server. Do not direct a child to use the App in violation of applicable law or platform rules. If you record or enter information about a minor, you are responsible for having lawful authority.
17. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You control what you record, transcribe, edit, organize, copy, export, and share. You may stop a recording, revoke microphone permission in Settings, edit local text, move a recording to Deleted, restore it during the retention period, permanently delete it, or delete the App. These actions may reduce functionality or cause permanent data loss.
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction and may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of personal information. Voice2Script does not discriminate against a person for exercising applicable privacy rights. Because the Developer does not automatically receive your App content, requests concerning local recordings and transcripts must ordinarily be completed on your device. For information you intentionally provide through a support channel or website, contact the Application Provider through the official website or App Store support link. We will respond as required by applicable law after reasonably verifying the request.
The App does not currently sell or share personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Therefore, there is no in-App sale or targeted-advertising opt-out mechanism. If those practices change, this Policy and any legally required choices will be updated before or when the changed processing begins.
18. THIRD PARTIES AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Apple, iCloud, StoreKit, email services, messaging services, external AI providers, cloud-storage services, printers, and other destinations are independent parties. They may process information in other states or countries under their own policies. The Developer is not responsible for a third party's privacy, security, availability, training practices, or handling of information you direct to that third party.
The Developer does not currently appoint an advertising network, analytics provider, or Developer-controlled content-hosting processor to receive App content. If the Developer later introduces accounts, servers, advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, cloud transcription, or network AI processing, this Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before or when that processing begins, and any legally required notice, permission, or choice will be provided.
19. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy to reflect App changes, legal requirements, or security practices. The updated version will identify a new Last Updated date and will be made available in the App, on the official website, or both. If a change materially affects how the Developer collects, uses, or shares information, we will provide any notice or consent required by applicable law.
20. CONTACT
For privacy or support questions, use the current contact method on the official Voice2Script website or the support link shown on the App Store product page. The Application Provider is the seller identified on that product page. Do not send private recordings, confidential transcripts, credentials, identity documents, or other sensitive information. The support email is listed as: Team@LearnBuildInspire.com
This Policy should be read together with the Voice2Script Terms of Use and the privacy terms of Apple and any destination you select.
Voice2Script Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 20, 2026
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
1. AGREEMENT AND APPLICATION PROVIDER
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Voice2Script (the "App"). The "Application Provider," "Developer," "we," "us," or "our" means the person or legal entity identified as the seller or application provider for Voice2Script on its official Apple App Store product page. Current legal and support contact methods are available through the official Voice2Script website and the support link shown on that App Store product page.
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you use the App for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and accept responsibility for that use.
2. APPLE TERMS AND RELATIONSHIP
The App is licensed, not sold. Unless the App Store product page expressly provides a custom end-user license agreement, Apple's then-current Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA") governs the license to the App. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA and address Voice2Script-specific features and responsibilities. If a provision irreconcilably conflicts with the Apple Standard EULA or mandatory law, the Apple Standard EULA or mandatory law controls to the extent of the conflict.
These Terms are between you and the Application Provider, not Apple. The Application Provider, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content, subject to the Apple Standard EULA. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the extent required by Apple's terms, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce provisions that benefit them.
3. LIMITED LICENSE
Subject to these Terms, the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Media Services Usage Rules, and your compliance with applicable law, the Application Provider grants you a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the App on Apple-branded products you own or control, including use permitted through applicable Apple family, legacy, or volume arrangements.
You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, publicly host, or commercially exploit the App itself; bypass purchase or access controls; use the App to develop a competing product through unauthorized copying; interfere with security or operation; introduce malicious code; or reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code, modify, or create derivative works except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law or permitted by applicable open-source terms.
4. INTENDED USE
Voice2Script is a productivity tool for recording audio, creating on-device transcriptions, editing and organizing text, playing stored audio, generating optional on-device report-summary drafts, and preparing user-directed exports. It can help organize lectures, interviews, meetings, personal notes, and other conversations that you are lawfully permitted to record and process.
The App is not a court reporter, certified transcription service, professional minute-taker, evidence custodian, records-management service, emergency service, legal service, medical service, financial adviser, human-resources adviser, or substitute for qualified professional review. It does not verify identities, attendance, consent, speaker attribution, accuracy, privilege, confidentiality, authenticity, completeness, delivery, or legal admissibility.
5. RECORDING CONSENT AND LAWFUL USE
You are solely responsible for determining whether you may lawfully record, transcribe, retain, copy, summarize, or share a conversation. Recording, wiretap, interception, privacy, workplace, educational, healthcare, court, professional-responsibility, and confidentiality laws vary by jurisdiction and circumstance. Some places require consent from every participant. A person may also have contractual, policy-based, professional, or other rights beyond statutory recording-consent rules.
Before recording, obtain every consent, authorization, and notice required by applicable law, agreement, workplace or school policy, professional duty, or relationship. Do not use the App to conduct unlawful surveillance; intercept a protected communication; record in a prohibited place; violate a court order or confidentiality duty; harass, stalk, threaten, discriminate, defame, impersonate, deceive, or intimidate; or infringe another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights.
The App does not provide a consent form or legal determination and does not know who is present. A recording indicator, screen display, file name, or operating-system microphone symbol does not establish that legally sufficient consent or notice was given.
6. YOUR CONTENT AND RIGHTS
"User Content" means recordings, transcripts, edits, titles, folder names, prompts, summaries, AI Bundles, exports, and other information you create, import, store, or share through the App. You retain your rights in User Content. You grant the App only the limited permission necessary to process and display User Content on your device and to perform an export or sharing action you request.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, consent, and lawful basis necessary to capture, record, reproduce, transcribe, edit, store, summarize, and disclose User Content. You are responsible for User Content, the people and organizations it concerns, and every use or distribution of it. Do not record or distribute copyrighted performances, confidential business information, privileged communications, trade secrets, protected educational or health information, or other restricted material without lawful authority.
7. TRANSCRIPTION ACCURACY
Transcription is created by automated on-device speech technology. It can omit words, combine speakers, misidentify technical terms, confuse names and numbers, insert incorrect punctuation, or fail because of audio quality, background noise, overlapping voices, device conditions, operating-system resources, or model availability.
The App does not guarantee verbatim, certified, complete, or error-free transcription. The transcript is not a substitute for the original audio. Review important statements against the recording, preserve the original audio when appropriate, and correct material errors before relying on, quoting, publishing, or sharing the text.
8. SPEAKERS TIMESTAMPS AND CONTEXT
The App may not reliably determine who is speaking. Speaker labels, timestamps, topic headings, or similar structure may be absent, approximate, inferred, user-entered, or generated by an external service after export. Do not treat an automated speaker assignment or timestamp as verified identity, authorship, attendance, sequence, or evidence.
You are responsible for correcting names, labels, timing, context, and attribution. Never use an uncertain automated label to make an accusation, employment decision, disciplinary decision, legal claim, medical decision, financial decision, or other consequential determination without independent verification and appropriate professional review.
9. ON-DEVICE REPORT SUMMARIES
On supported devices, the App may use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework to prepare an optional report-summary draft. Generated text can omit information, flatten nuance, confuse speakers, state an inference too strongly, or produce incorrect content. A summary is not the complete transcript and is not a verified statement of what occurred.
You must review the draft before using it. The App requires an affirmative action before an on-device draft replaces the editable transcript, but that confirmation does not make the summary accurate. Refreshing or retranscribing may replace edits. Maintain exports of text that you need to preserve.
AI-generated text is organizational assistance only. It is not legal, medical, financial, employment, educational, safety, or other professional advice. It does not establish decisions, promises, assignments, deadlines, liability, intent, consent, or identity.
10. AI BUNDLE AND EXTERNAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The AI Bundle feature combines user-reviewed instructions with the preserved original transcript in a text file. Voice2Script does not select a provider, submit the file automatically, guarantee that a destination accepts it, or guarantee that an external AI service can create Word, PDF, or other documents.
Before external sharing, the App presents a privacy notice. If you continue, you choose the destination and accept responsibility for the external provider's terms, privacy policy, security, data retention, model-training choices, output, fees, and availability. Remove sensitive content before sharing when appropriate.
External AI output may be inaccurate, fabricated, incomplete, biased, improperly formatted, or unavailable. Review any generated report against the original recording and transcript. Voice2Script does not endorse every application displayed in the iOS Share Sheet and is not responsible for an external service's processing or output.
11. EDITING ORIGINALS AND EXPORTS
The App may keep the original transcription separately from the editable transcript. Original Text and AI Bundle exports are intended to use the preserved original transcription when available. An accepted report summary or later edit may change what appears in the editable transcript without changing the preserved original. Review the screen and export type before sharing.
Original Audio exports contain the recorded audio. Original Text exports contain text and do not substitute for the audio. AI Bundles contain instructions and transcript text but not the audio. Copying text places it on the system clipboard, where another application or person with device access may be able to read it according to operating-system behavior.
Opening or completing a Share Sheet does not prove transmission, receipt, opening, acceptance, backup, or deletion. You are responsible for selecting the correct destination and recipient, checking the attachment and content, retaining independent proof when needed, and complying with any notice, filing, service, or delivery requirement.
12. LOCAL STORAGE BACKUPS AND LOSS RISK
The App does not provide a Developer-operated cloud backup or recovery service. Content ordinarily remains in the App container on your device. Apple's device backup may include App data depending on settings and Apple's systems, but the App does not control, monitor, or guarantee that process.
You are responsible for maintaining adequate backups and exports, confirming that exported files open, choosing a secure destination, and protecting device and destination credentials. Deleting a record, permanently deleting an item, deleting the App, losing or damaging a device, restoring an incomplete backup, changing devices, exhausting storage, or experiencing hardware, software, model, or operating-system failure may cause permanent loss. The Application Provider generally cannot recover local content because the Developer does not possess it.
13. DELETED ITEMS AND PERMANENT DELETION
An eligible deleted recording and its associated transcript information ordinarily remain in the Deleted area for up to 14 days unless you restore or permanently delete them sooner. The App may purge expired items. Permanent deletion is intended to remove the associated local structured record and App-managed recording directory, but it cannot recall or delete copies already exported, copied, emailed, messaged, printed, backed up, or stored by another provider or recipient.
Review deletion warnings carefully. If a recording or transcript may be important, export and verify it before permanent deletion. Deleting a recording does not restore Voice2Script Basic recording minutes already used.
14. Voice2Script Basic and Voice2Script Pro
Voice2Script Basic currently permits up to 120 cumulative minutes of completed recording across any number of recordings. Previously used minutes are not restored when a recording is deleted, moved to Deleted, permanently deleted, or removed through App reinstallation. The App stores cumulative usage information locally, including in the device Keychain, to enforce this product rule.
Voice2Script Pro is intended as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple; it is not a subscription. Pro removes the App-imposed cumulative recording-duration limit. It does not remove device-storage limits, operating-system restrictions, technical limits, legal restrictions, or limitations imposed by Apple or another provider.
The App displays Apple's localized product information and price when available. Any fallback price shown during testing or temporary StoreKit unavailability is not a binding offer. Purchase eligibility, billing, taxes, refunds, restoration, Apple Account association, Family Sharing if offered, storefront availability, and transaction processing are controlled by Apple and its terms.
Entitlement depends on Apple's verified transaction information and restoration systems. A refund, revocation, account issue, network issue, or unavailable entitlement may prevent new Pro recording activity. Existing local recordings and transcripts will not intentionally be deleted merely because an entitlement is unavailable. No purchase guarantees perpetual availability of the App, an operating system, a device, or a third-party service.
15. DEVICE OPERATING SYSTEM AND FEATURE REQUIREMENTS
Features may require a supported iPhone or iPad, microphone access, sufficient storage and battery, a compatible operating system, downloaded Apple language resources, Apple Intelligence eligibility, an enabled system setting, or network access for an Apple-managed download, StoreKit purchase, or restoration. Some features are unavailable on older devices even if the App can otherwise run.
Background recording, audio routing, Bluetooth behavior, interruption handling, Share Sheet destinations, Apple Intelligence, speech models, and file availability are controlled in part by the device and operating system. The Application Provider does not guarantee compatibility with every accessory, language, region, future operating-system release, or third-party application.
16. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OR CERTIFIED RECORD
The App and its labels, prompts, summaries, reports, and exports provide productivity and organizational assistance only. They are not legal, medical, financial, tax, accounting, employment, educational, investigative, safety, or other professional advice. Nothing in the App creates an attorney-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, reporter-source, court-reporter-client, agency, employment, or other professional relationship.
The App does not notarize, certify, authenticate, or establish a chain of custody for a recording or transcript. It does not guarantee admissibility, privilege, confidentiality, compliance, authorship, identity, accuracy, or that a recipient or authority will accept any material. Consult a qualified professional about important rights, obligations, deadlines, or decisions.
17. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You may not use the App to violate law or another person's rights; obtain or disclose protected information without authority; create or distribute deceptive, defamatory, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, exploitative, or harmful material; impersonate another person; facilitate fraud or unauthorized monitoring; interfere with investigations or legal process; bypass purchase controls; probe or disrupt the App's security; distribute malware; or use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or another system.
You may not represent an automated transcript, summary, or externally generated report as verified, certified, or created by a person or professional who did not approve it. You may not use App content to train, evaluate, or operate another system unless you possess all necessary rights and permissions.
18. THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND DESTINATIONS
The App interacts with Apple services and may display destinations you choose, such as Files, iCloud Drive, Mail, Messages, AirDrop, printers, or third-party storage and AI applications. Those services are independent, may be unavailable or change, and are governed by their own terms. Use them at your own risk and comply with applicable third-party agreements.
The Application Provider does not control or endorse every destination shown by the operating system and is not responsible for its content, security, availability, transmission, retention, deletion, training practices, or output. A third party may process information in another state or country.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The App, its software, design, branding, compilation, documentation, default AI Bundle prompts, and non-user content are owned by or licensed to the Application Provider and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you. Voice2Script names, logos, and branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or ownership without permission.
Feedback may be used to improve the App without an obligation to compensate you, provided the Developer does not thereby claim ownership of your private User Content.
20. AVAILABILITY CHANGES AND SUPPORT
The App may be updated, corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features may differ by device, operating-system version, country, language, hardware capability, Apple service availability, storage, or purchase status. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every future device or operating system, or indefinite retention of any feature.
Before installing an update, changing devices, deleting the App, or taking an action that may affect stored content, maintain verified exports of important material. Support resources, if offered, are available through the official website or App Store support link. Support does not include legal advice, factual investigation, certified transcription, guaranteed data recovery, or a promise to preserve information you send.
21. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ALL RELATED CONTENT, FEATURES, TRANSCRIPTS, SUMMARIES, PROMPTS, EXPORTS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND. THE APPLICATION PROVIDER DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST OR CORRUPTED.
THE APPLICATION PROVIDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE; THAT A RECORDING WILL BE COMPLETE OR PLAYABLE; THAT TRANSCRIPTION, SPEAKER ATTRIBUTION, TIMESTAMPS, OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE; THAT A SHARE OR BACKUP WILL SUCCEED; THAT A FILE WILL BE ACCEPTED BY AN EXTERNAL SERVICE; OR THAT ANY RECORD WILL ESTABLISH A LEGAL OR FACTUAL PROPOSITION. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN STATEMENT CREATES A WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In that event, the exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Any warranty obligation that cannot lawfully be disclaimed is the Application Provider's responsibility, not Apple's, except that Apple may refund the App's purchase price where Apple's applicable terms require it and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, has no other warranty obligation for the App.
22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APPLICATION PROVIDER AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOSS OF RECORDINGS, TRANSCRIPTS, EVIDENCE, PRIVILEGE, CONFIDENTIALITY, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, OR BUSINESS; PERSONAL OR PROPERTY LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THE APP; OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH LOSS MAY OCCUR.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE APPLICATION PROVIDER FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP AND IN-APP PURCHASES DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTEEN U.S. DOLLARS (US $15).
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability that applicable law imposes for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or certain personal injury. Your jurisdiction may provide additional non-waivable rights.
23. INDEMNIFICATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Application Provider and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates from third-party claims, demands, proceedings, damages, judgments, losses, liabilities, penalties, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from or relating to: (a) your User Content; (b) your unlawful, unsafe, or unauthorized recording, transcription, retention, or disclosure; (c) your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or a third party's privacy, intellectual-property, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights; or (d) a transcript, summary, report, accusation, decision, or disclosure you create or send through use of the App.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by the indemnified party's gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which indemnification is prohibited. The Application Provider may control the defense and settlement of an indemnified claim, and you agree to provide reasonable cooperation. We will not settle a claim in a manner that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld.
24. PRODUCT CLAIMS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CLAIMS
As between Apple and the Application Provider, the Application Provider, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims about the App or your possession and use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal requirement, consumer-protection claims, and claims that the App infringes a third party's intellectual-property rights, except as otherwise provided by law or Apple's terms.
25. TERMINATION
These Terms remain effective until terminated. You may terminate them by stopping use and deleting the App, subject to provisions that by their nature survive. Your license terminates automatically if you materially violate these Terms or the Apple Standard EULA. Upon termination, stop using the App. Sections concerning ownership, User Content, responsibility, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, disputes, and other provisions intended to survive will remain effective.
Termination does not cause the Application Provider to possess or recover local content and does not require Apple or another provider to delete transaction, backup, export, or destination records governed by its own terms.
26. EXPORT AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE
You may not use, export, or re-export the App except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction where the App was obtained. You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving or using the App under applicable sanctions or export-control laws and will not use it for a purpose prohibited by law. Government users receive only the rights customarily provided to other end users, subject to applicable procurement law.
27. GOVERNING TERMS AND DISPUTES
The governing-law and forum provisions in the Apple Standard EULA apply to the license obtained through Apple. Other disputes with the Application Provider are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rules that cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
Before filing a non-urgent claim, you are encouraged to contact the Application Provider through the official website or App Store support link and provide a concise description of the issue and requested resolution. This informal step does not extend or shorten any legal deadline and is not required where prohibited by law or emergency relief is appropriate.
28. GENERAL TERMS
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Apple Standard EULA, and any additional terms presented for a specific feature form the agreement governing your use of the App. If a court finds a provision unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms except as permitted by law and Apple's rules; the Application Provider may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, asset transfer, or operation of law, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Headings are for convenience. "Including" means "including without limitation." Electronic notices and records may satisfy writing requirements where permitted by law.
29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms for future use of the App to reflect legal, security, or feature changes. The updated version will show a revised Last Updated date and will be made available in the App, on the official website, or both. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law; if you do not agree, stop using the App.
