Inspection Walkdown Photo Docket (the **“App”**) is provided by the person or entity identified as the seller on the App’s Apple App Store product page (the **“Developer,” “we,” “us,”** or **“our”**). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App and when you contact the Developer for support. This Privacy Policy applies to the App for iPhone and iPad. It does not govern Apple, a service you select when exporting a report, or any other third party. Those parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
1. Privacy Summary
No Inspection Walkdown account is required.
The Developer does not operate a server or cloud service that receives your reports, photographs, annotations, notes, or generated PDFs.
Report content is processed and stored locally within the App’s container on your device.
The App contains no third-party advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking technology.
The Developer does not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use report content for advertising or profiling.
Camera and photo-library features are used only when you choose to take or select a photograph.
Improve Note and Generate Report Summary use Apple’s on-device language model when that feature is available. The App does not send your report text to the Developer or to a cloud AI service.
Apple processes App Store purchases. The Developer does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.
A report leaves the App only when you choose to export, share, save, print, back up, or otherwise transfer it.
2. Information Processed and Stored on Your Device
The App processes the information you choose to create or import so it can provide its report-building features. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
report titles, report numbers, dates, site names, street addresses or location descriptions, client and project information, preparer information, scope descriptions, and general observations;
photographs taken with the camera or selected through Apple’s photo picker;
photo captions, field observations, sections, ordering, annotations, arrows, circles, boxes, freehand marks, numbered markers, and text labels;
optional date, time, or location fields when such information is present and you choose to include it;
generated report summaries and other text you accept after reviewing an on-device writing suggestion;
generated PDFs and information about the latest export;
App settings, report-numbering preferences, PDF quality preferences, the number of complimentary distinct-report credits already used, and the local state needed to display purchase access.
This information may be personal, confidential, sensitive, or identifying depending on what you photograph or enter. You decide what content to create, import, retain, and share. You are responsible for having any permission required to photograph a person or property, enter personal information, and disclose a report. The App stores this information in its private application storage on your device. The Developer cannot remotely open or retrieve that local content through the App.
3. Information the App Does Not Collect for the Developer
The current version of the App does not transmit personal information or report content from the App to the Developer or to a service acting on the Developer’s behalf. In particular, the App does not provide the Developer with:
your photographs, reports, notes, annotations, PDFs, or AI prompts and responses;
your contacts, messages, browsing history, precise device location, or photo library;
an advertising identifier or data used to track you across apps or websites;
a user profile, account credentials, or password;
payment-card or banking information; or
App-generated analytics, advertising data, or third-party crash-reporting data.
The App’s code does not contain an analytics, advertising, social-media, or third-party tracking SDK. If a future version adds an account, cloud sync, developer-operated backup, analytics, advertising, remote AI, or another data-collection feature, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that feature is released as required.
Apple may independently process App Store activity, purchases, device information, and optional diagnostics under Apple’s own privacy policy and device settings. Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store statistics or system-generated diagnostic information. The App does not intentionally attach your report photographs, report text, or generated PDFs to analytics or diagnostic events.
4. Camera and Photo Library
The App requests camera access only after you choose **Take Photo**. It uses the resulting image to add a photograph to the report you are editing. The App uses Apple’s system photo picker after you choose **Photo Library**. You control which photographs you select. The App receives the selected items for import; it does not scan your photo library in the background or continuously access the camera.
You can deny or revoke camera or photo access in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Revoking access stops future capture or selection but does not automatically delete photographs you previously imported into the App. You can delete an imported photograph or its report within the App.
5. On-Device Writing Assistance
On supported devices and operating-system versions, **Improve Note** and **Generate Report Summary** use Apple’s Foundation Models framework and Apple’s on-device language model. The App provides the model only the report text needed for the task you request. Processing occurs on your device. The App’s implementation does not send that prompt, report text, or generated response to the Developer or to a cloud AI provider. The App does not use your content to train a Developer model. You see an editable draft and decide whether to accept or discard it. The availability and operation of Apple’s on-device model are controlled by your device, operating system, Apple Intelligence settings, and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. App Store Purchase Information
The App offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase through Apple’s App Store to unlock unlimited reports after the complimentary allowance is used. Apple and StoreKit handle the purchase, payment, tax, refund, family or account eligibility, and restoration process under Apple’s terms.
The App receives limited product, transaction-verification, and entitlement status information from StoreKit so it can determine whether Unlimited access should be enabled. This processing occurs through Apple’s systems and on the device. The Developer does not receive your payment-card details, bank information, or Apple Account password through the App. Apple’s retention and use of App Store transaction information are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
7. Exporting, Sharing, Saving, and Printing
The App creates PDFs locally. When you choose to share, save, print, email, AirDrop, or otherwise export a PDF, iOS or iPadOS presents system and third-party destinations available on your device. The destination you select may receive the report and any personal or confidential information it contains. Examples may include Mail, Messages, AirDrop recipients, Files, iCloud Drive, another cloud-storage provider, a printer, or another installed app. The Developer does not choose the destination and does not receive a copy through the App. After transfer, the recipient or destination provider controls its copy under its own privacy and security practices. Review the report and the selected destination before completing any transfer. The App cannot delete or control copies that you saved outside the App, placed in a device or cloud backup, sent to another person, or transferred to another service.
8. Device and Cloud Backups
The Developer does not provide an Inspection Walkdown cloud account or backup service. Your Apple device, however, may include App data in an iCloud or computer backup depending on your Apple settings and backup configuration. Those backups are provided and controlled by Apple or by you, not by the Developer, and the Developer cannot access them through the App. You are responsible for securely exporting or backing up records you must retain and for managing any device, iCloud, computer, enterprise, or third-party backup that may contain App data.
9. Retention and Deletion
Reports and App-managed assets remain on your device until you delete them, delete the App, erase the device, or the operating system removes the data. Deleting a report from within the App removes the report from the App’s active records and removes its App-managed photographs and most recent App-managed PDF. Deleting the App ordinarily removes its local application container from the device. System caches, forensic remnants, and copies in an Apple device backup may remain until overwritten or removed through the applicable system or backup controls. Deleting a report or the App does not delete a copy that was previously shared, printed, saved to Files, exported to another app, or stored in a backup outside the App’s control. The complimentary-report counter and purchase entitlement are designed to persist as necessary to enforce and restore the App’s access rules. StoreKit purchase records are maintained by Apple under Apple’s policies. Reinstalling the App does not necessarily reset complimentary usage, and a qualifying purchase can be restored through Apple. Because the Developer does not hold a server copy of your App content, the Developer generally has no remote report data to retrieve, correct, export, or delete for you.
10. Support Communications
If you contact the Developer for support, a privacy request, or other business communication, the Developer receives the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, message, and any attachment you choose to send. Do not send a report, photograph, address, or other confidential information unless it is necessary and you are authorized to disclose it. Support information is used to respond to you, troubleshoot an issue, prevent abuse, maintain appropriate business and legal records, and establish or defend legal claims. It may be processed by the Developer’s email, website-hosting, or support-service provider solely to provide those services. It is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, required by law, or needed to resolve a dispute, and is then deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable. Support communications are separate from the App’s local report storage. Contacting support does not give the Developer remote access to your device or reports.
11. No Sale, Advertising, or Tracking
The Developer does not sell or rent personal information. The Developer does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, provide targeted advertising in the App, or track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites. Because the App does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, the App does not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” switch. If those practices change, the Developer will provide any notice and choice required by applicable law before the change takes effect.
12. Legal Disclosure and Business Changes
Because the Developer does not receive your locally stored reports through the App, the Developer ordinarily cannot disclose that content in response to a request. The Developer may disclose information actually in its possession, such as a support message, when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process; protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Developer, Apple, or others; investigate fraud or misuse; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. If ownership or operation of the App or the Developer’s business changes, information actually held by the Developer, such as support records, may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law. This Privacy Policy will be updated if the change materially affects how personal information is handled.
13. Children’s Privacy
The App is a professional documentation tool and is not directed to children. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from a child through the App. If a parent or legal guardian believes a child has sent personal information directly to the Developer in a support communication, the parent or guardian may use the contact method below to request review and deletion, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You control the App’s local data by choosing what to enter, import, retain, include in a PDF, and share. You may:
decline or revoke camera and photo access in system Settings;
choose not to use the on-device writing features;
edit or delete report content before export;
delete an individual photograph or report;
delete the App to remove its active local container from the device; and
manage device and iCloud backups through Apple’s settings.
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights concerning personal information the Developer actually holds, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about processing, and to appeal or complain to an appropriate privacy regulator. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. Because the Developer generally holds no App-generated user data, a request will usually concern only information you separately provided in a support or business communication. Submit a request through the **Support** link on the App’s App Store product page. Describe the request and the jurisdiction that applies. The Developer may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, and the records involved. The Developer cannot fulfill a request concerning data held only by Apple, a recipient, a backup provider, or another service; contact that party directly.
15. Security
The App limits privacy risk by keeping report content on the device and avoiding Developer-operated report servers, advertising SDKs, and analytics SDKs. Local data is protected by the security controls provided by iOS or iPadOS and by the safeguards you enable, such as a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, operating-system updates, secure backups, and careful sharing choices. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. The Developer cannot guarantee that a lost, compromised, jailbroken, or shared device; an insecure backup; a misdirected export; or a third-party destination will protect your content. Protect the device, retain original records when required, and confirm every recipient before sharing a report.
16. International Use
App content remains on your device unless you choose a transfer or your device backup settings cause a transfer. A destination or support provider you select may process information in a country different from your own. Any support information received by the Developer may be processed where the Developer or its service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law. Mandatory privacy rights in your jurisdiction are not limited by this Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Developer may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or business practices. The effective date above will be revised when the policy changes. If a change materially expands the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, the Developer will provide any additional notice or consent required by applicable law before applying the change.nThe version posted at the App’s Privacy Policy URL is the current version. Review it when the App is updated.

App-Specific Terms of Use

These app-specific terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). 1. Purpose of the App
Inspection Walkdown Photo Docket is a documentation tool for organizing photographs, annotations, notes, and PDF reports. It does not inspect property, verify conditions, perform testing, or replace the judgment of a qualified inspector, engineer, architect, contractor, environmental professional, attorney, insurer, or other specialist.
Do not rely on the app or a generated report for emergency response, life-safety decisions, structural conclusions, regulatory compliance, valuation, coverage decisions, or any determination requiring professional investigation. Stop work and contact an appropriate professional or emergency service when conditions may be unsafe.
2. Your Responsibility for Every Report
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, wording, photo selection, annotations, dates, locations, conclusions, distribution, and intended use of each report. Review the complete PDF before sharing or relying on it. The app does not certify that a report is complete, admissible, compliant, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Keep original photographs and any other records required by your contract, profession, employer, insurer, client, or applicable law.
3. On-Device Writing Assistance
Improve Note and Generate Report Summary create drafts using an on-device language model when available. Generated language may be inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, or inappropriate. It may omit qualifications or imply facts that were not observed.
AI output is never a professional opinion or factual verification. You must independently review, edit, and approve every draft. Do not use AI output to create or embellish a condition, measurement, cause, diagnosis, code violation, recommendation, or conclusion that you did not independently support.
4. Photographs, Privacy, and Lawful Use
You retain ownership of your photographs, notes, annotations, and reports. You authorize the app to process that content locally as needed to provide its features.
You must have permission to enter the property, take and use photographs, record location or time information, document people or private areas, and share the resulting report. Do not use the app for unlawful surveillance, harassment, defamation, deception, infringement, or any violation of privacy, confidentiality, employment, contractual, or intellectual-property rights.
5. Local Storage and Data Loss
Reports and app-managed photographs are stored locally. The Developer does not operate an account or backup service for this content. Device loss, damage, erasure, app deletion, storage failure, operating-system changes, or user action may cause permanent loss. You are responsible for exporting and backing up important records.
Deleting a report removes its app-managed photographs and latest managed PDF. A shared or separately saved copy is outside the app's control.
6. PDF Compression and Output
Email Optimized export intentionally reduces image dimensions and JPEG quality. Compression can remove fine detail or introduce artifacts. Use High Detail when close visual examination is important, compare the PDF with the original photographs, and never treat a compressed image as a substitute for retaining the original evidence.
7. Complimentary Reports and Purchase
The first three distinct reports receive complimentary final-PDF export. A credit is consumed only after the first successful final export of a distinct report. Correcting or regenerating that same credited report does not consume another credit. Deleting, duplicating, or renaming a report does not create or restore a credit, and credits do not reset on a schedule.
After the three complimentary reports are used, a one-time non-consumable purchase unlocks unlimited reports. The App Store displays the applicable localized price and handles payment, taxes, entitlement, restoration, and refund requests under Apple's terms. No subscription is required.
8. Availability and Changes
Features may depend on device capability, operating-system version, Apple Intelligence availability, storage, permissions, or App Store services. The Developer may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and Apple's requirements. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the terms then presented with the app.
9. Ownership and Restrictions
The app, branding, interface, report design, and software are owned by or licensed to the Developer and are protected by law. Your license is limited by the Standard EULA. You may not misuse the app, bypass purchase controls, interfere with security, or use the app to violate another person's rights.
10. No Warranty
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP, AI FEATURES, AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PRESERVATION OF DATA, OR THAT THE APP OR ANY REPORT WILL SATISFY PROFESSIONAL, CONTRACTUAL, EVIDENTIARY, INSURANCE, OR REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. THE STANDARD EULA'S WARRANTY TERMS ALSO APPLY.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS; LOSS OR DISCLOSURE OF DATA; MISSED CONDITIONS; PROPERTY DAMAGE; OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON A REPORT, AI-GENERATED LANGUAGE, USER CONTENT, OR FAILURE TO RETAIN ORIGINAL RECORDS. THE STANDARD EULA'S LIABILITY LIMITS APPLY. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
12. Responsibility for Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, and expenses resulting from your unlawful content, your lack of required permission, your infringement of another person's rights, or your intentional misuse of the app. This provision does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by the Developer or cannot lawfully be assigned to you.
13. Legal Terms and Contact
The Developer is the application provider identified as the seller on the app's App Store page. Apple is not responsible for your reports or user content. The governing-law, third-party-beneficiary, support, maintenance, and other license provisions in the Standard EULA apply, together with mandatory rights in your jurisdiction.
