CREW - Start Up Checklist
Administrative Duties
MORNING:
Do Attendance on Paper (it will be provided on a colored sheet)
Ask around for absent students
Timetables
Go over timetables so student know where to go after CREW (see opening day procedures document for details)
Hand out family handbook/calendar
Pass out handouts (school fees, newsletters, student verification forms)
2. Go over School Expectations
Scooter/skateboard storage
Closed Campus Rules
Arriving Late Procedures (Check in with office to get a late slip)
Leaving Early Procedures (Sign out at office)

4. Lunch Time Options
Hot Lunch will be available (BUT you must pre-order, you cannot buy the day of)
Upstairs hallway is off limits for eating
Students are encouraged to be outside. Swings, outdoor equipment is available
Gym is open for basketball most of the days
In the Winter - Auditorium is open for play
Cafeteria will be open the entire lunch (students are encouraged to use this space for eating)
As a school we want to encourage the use of the cafeteria for eating to keep students together, cleaning to a minimum, and more school culture
Library is open from 12:35 - 1:08 for reading or school work. It's closed for the first 15 minutes for students to eat before coming to the library as there is NO EATING in the library!
5. PLEASE NOTE:
There is NO physical tour this year in CREW. Your WEB leader has been trained and will cover the tour information
6. Student Voice
Each month ONE student from your CREW will attend a lunch meeting with Mr. Baruta to talk about what changes they would like to see at RMS. This can be the same student, or it can be on a rotational basis. Lunch (Pizza) will be provided for the student when they attend the meeting. Please talk to your CREW and find out who would be interested in this role. This role can be split between different people
