Theatre Production is a course offered each semester at OKM which discovers, imagines and creates the world of the play for the actors to perform in for our Mainstage Productions - everything In Front of and Behind the Stage that is required to create a live play or musical is explored in this class. Commitment, Leadership and Mastery of these areas usually evolves in students taking on roles of running crew, spotlight, audio technician (A1, A2), Assistant Stage Manager and Stage Manager for our productions. We are very proud to announce that in spring 2023 we offered a new course - Introduction to Technical Theatre 9 which is a 1 quarter course meant to introduce the basics of Technical Theatre to our new grade 9 students. It was a great success and we expect to offer it in the future as well as see some of those students integrate into the full semester course.
