The District provides black and white and color printers as well as photocopiers at each of the schools. Printing at a school is provided for district employees that have been assigned to that school by HR. Choose the printer from the list of available printers you want to send your print job to. Photo copiers are accessed via the XXX Any Copier printer where XXX is the 3 letter code for the school. When you print to the copier the print job is held in the print queue as “Paused” until you release it at the copier. If the print job is not released in 24 hours it is canceled. To release your print jobs go to any copier in the school and tap in your employee number. Your print jobs will be listed for release.
Support staff who are assigned to a school can print by logging into a district computer on site. If your assignment is at OPS then you will want to use the computers provided in the OPS staff room to print. If you are assigned to OPS but are stationed at another location, ask the head secretary which computer has been set up to allow OPS staff to print.
If your assignment is itinerant in nature, the LTD department can give you access to the Itinerant printer. This is a print queue that can release print jobs to designated copiers at each school. You must have a district laptop to be given access to this printer.
TTOCs are not assigned to a location so do not have access to printers. The district has created the TOC Mover App to temporarily grant TTOCs access to printers and network drives at a school. Ask the head secretary to “move” you to the school via the TOC Mover app.
The TOC Mover app is accessed on the SD23 Dashboard by selecting the Clerical role on the right and then the Clerical Tools tile followed by the TOC Mover tile. Only head secretaries have access to this App.
