Welcome to HMS!

My name is Ms. Paige Miller, I am here at Ecole H.S. Grenda for my third year. I will be teaching Grade 8 math, Science (all grades), P.H.E. and Passions exporation. 

I believe in a holistic pedagogy of meeting students at their personal, proximal learning zone and guiding them to achieve their individual goals. 

I have lived in Lake country for 12 years; have worked as a pharmacy technician for 15 years prior to going back to university to complete my second degree at U.B.C.O. as a bachelor of Education. I have volunteered my time in classrooms at Peter Greer Elementary and completed a teaching practicum at Oyama Traditional. 

I have been involved as a volunteer in coaching soccer with the LCYSA and volleyball.  As a true Okanaganian... I enjoy playing and working on our beautiful unceded Okanagan territory; whether it is skiing at Big White in the winter, paddleboarding on the lakes in the summer, biking or hiking. 

I look forward to getting to teach and learn alongside our amazing Creek teachers and students!
