The lessons below are taken from CIVIX, CTRL-F (Digital media literacy). This is a Canadian funded source that helps build and support digital citizenship for our students. The focus of the four pillars is using the SIFT method for evaluating sources and misinformation. 

By the end of these lessons, students will have accumulated the following skill sets:

• How to verify a source is reliable

• Detecting whether an image is real or fake

• Distinguishing between Misinformation vs Disinformation
