At GMS, we believe that students learn best through creative exploration - or play! The monthly playing record is designed to help students value practicing for themselves with the main goal being to make practicing both meaningful and enjoyable.

Practice is a necessary part of learning to play an instrument. After all, progress doesn't really happen well without it. BUT, practicing doesn't have to be synonymous with monotony. Music students are encouraged, through improvisation and variety, to keep the spirit of play alive during practice sessions. (Practice can also be much more fun with a friend!)
