The goal of the skills showcase is for you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that you have acquired that are transferable as you transition from high school.
The goal of the skills showcase is for you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that you have acquired that are transferable as you transition from high school.
You have created your own unique skill set that will evolve and strengthen as you navigate your educational and career pathway and explore your many opportunities.
There are many skills that you are unique to you, so it is important that you choose to share will be the ones you have developed through your lived experiences. You may choose to draw on academic, athletic, employment, extra-curricular activities and personal examples in order to demonstrate your skills in your presentation and conversation.

Demonstrate the skills that you have acquired, and how these relate to your future educational and career pathways.
#1. think about at least three transferable skills you’ve developed along the way, and describe how they will be important as you move forward. Explain how you developed these skills through interests, work, school, etc...
ex/ communications skills, working with people, reliability, people skills, working with children, customer service skills, cooperation/teamwork, etc.
#2. think about at least two specific skills you have developed and describe how they will be important as you move forward:
ex/ math skills, computer/technology skills, sport specific, art, writing, machines, athleticism, etc.
*This is another great opportunity to introduce your ARTIFACT. It might be in the form of something you created that helped you to learn something that will be significant to your path, or maybe an award, or something that represents an important experience, etc
