First you need to set up your computer to properly save your work and retrieve old assignments as needed
Using the Google apps waffle, navigate to your Google Drive.
On the left, find "My Drive" and right click on it
Create a New Folder and name it depending on the course you are in:
Drafting and Animation 9
Robotics and Electronics 9
Search computer for app called "SNIPPING TOOL" and use it to take a screen shot showing your folder you just created in your Google Drive
Save this image to your desktop and drag it to the folder you just created.
Going forward.....save EVERYTHING in this folder with the proper name for each assignment.
Click this > Course Outline and File Management Document
This will open a google doc that you can't edit.
Click on FILE - then MAKE A COPY
Save it in your folder from Part A as “Assign. Number – Assign. name - Lastname”
Example: 01-courseoutline-smith.doc
Find the COURSE OUTLINE on the Webpage
Fill in the document.
Type in your FULL Name and Todays Date. This indicates your understanding of the Course Outline and your acceptance of:
evaluation,
expectations,
procedures and,
fire drill procedures
Open the Google Classroom for this course and navigate to the "GETTING STARTED" assignment.
Submit both the image of your created folder and the completed course outline document.
