We just wanted to reach out to you and your team of skills instructors in our appreciation of the fabulous educators our son has been provided with at CMS this year. He is absolutely loving CMS and we couldn’t be happier with the caliber of instruction he is receiving.

We have already seen a marked difference in his skating through working with your skills instructors in the Academy. He’s definitely learning how to hone his power and use it a lot more efficiently. It was really noticeable when he skated with the Bantam Tier 1 recently and had to play at such a high pace. He was right in there with the older kids and had no problem keeping up, which has helped him with his confidence as well.

Central Okanagan Hockey Skills Academy

Central Okanagan Public Schools (SD#23), is proud to offer the SD#23 Hockey Skills Academy to the students at a variety of schools throughout our district.

During the 2003-2004 school year, Rutland Senior Secondary served as the pilot site for SD#23 with 25 students enrolled in the Hockey Academy. After a very successful first year, there was significant demand to expand to other SD#23 schools, including Canyon Falls Middle School.
