Student activities

Salem High School has found that students who involve themselves in extracurricular activities are often happier and more successful students. Salem High School offers a wide variety of opportunities including; academic and service clubs, music and drama activities, arts and creative clubs, as well as clubs geared to the competitive student. Students may also qualify for acceptance into up to four different honor societies. A unique aspect of SHS focuses on the idea that student’s interests change, so should a group of students show interest and initiative in a certain type of activity, the group may submit to the school a request for the implementation of said club. Also notable is the fact that clubs and activities at Salem High School do not have any fees, and all students are encouraged to join in or participate in many clubs.
