We need to master these skills in order to do anything else!
Grammar, morphology, and spelling skills are incorporated into our reading and writing units all year long.
Small grammar and/or word attack skill packets may be used as a focus point for our current skill set.
Spelling and punctuation count all the time!

basic parts of speech
Greek & Latin roots
prefixes and suffixes
simple and complete subjects and predicates
compound and complex sentences
