Dear Parents and Guardians,
I have been working at putting together work for your child so that they may continue to learn during our time outside of the classroom. On my website I have made updates to support you and your child. You will find that I have posted a sample of how your child’s day can be planned to complete all assignments. Module 6 has been uploaded if you need any help with the lessons. The students have their math workbook. On the remote learning page you will find daily assignments, code.org, reading a-z (RAZ KIDS) and our Engage NY module 6 in its entirety. As needed, I will continue to add websites and learning materials for your child. Please check my website on a daily basis for assignments. I will be available through email ( calisep@pearlriver.org) and my cell phone (845-494-2310). Please contact me if there is anything you need. Be well.

Good morning boys and girls. I miss you already but I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. I hope on the nice days you are playing in the yard, taking a walk, or even riding your bike. I just got my bike out of the bike shop yesterday and will be riding everyday weather permitting. I have Disney Plus so I watched Beauty and the Beast and Moana. I plan to watch many more as I work from home.

Good morning boys and girls. Happy Friday. Today is supposed to get warm hopefully the rain will hold out and you can enjoy this beautiful day. I am hoping to ride my bike today. Tonight I am going to watch Frozen 2. I loved Frozen so I am sure I will love this one. Besides planning I have been working two graduate courses. I am keeping busy all day long.

Good morning boys and girls! With social distancing and lots of places including many schools closed because of Covid-19 children are connecting with each other by painting or coloring colorful rainbows and putting them in their windows for others to see.

If you didn't get to make one I hope you can do one today. I would love to see them. I hope you are enjoying The Beast in Ms. Rooney's Room. Today there is no reading. We are going to work in our workbook. Next week we are going to do some science. We are going to investigate wild weather.

Go to a nice clean page and write about your favorite part so far in The Beast in Ms. Rooney's Room. Remember to have 5 or more sentences and your sentences must have 5 or more words. Use your best spelling. When you are done use your crayons to illustrate your favorite part. We will be using the journal while you are at home and I am so excited to read them when we get back.

Good morning boys and girls and I hope you had a good weekend. I delivered some food to my kids yesterday but dropped it off on their front steps. I played cards with Mr. Calise and watched a movie on Saturday and Sunday with the rainy day I just cleaned. I hope the weather is a little better so I can go for a walk or ride my bike. This week we are going to continue with math and ELA and do some science. Today is art so make sure you check out Mr. Price's website.

Math: Math Lesson 12 today. You can go on to Zearn to review the lesson you will be doing. You will do the problem set on pages 56 and 57. Today parents the lesson focuses on using math drawings to compose a rectangle with square tiles. Do the exit ticket on page 58 and for homework (later on in the day) do pages 59 and 60 . Moms and Dads you can also visit Eureka math if you need assistance. Don't forget to do two math minutes(one addition and one subtraction) and one page in the addition and subtraction book.

It can be mom, dad, a sibling, a pet or call someone on the phone like grandma or grandpa and read to them. Please pick a story from raz-kids, EPIC, or listen to a story from Storyonline! Have fun!!!

I hope the weather is a little better today. I hope you enjoyed chapter 4 in The Beast in Ms. Rooney's room. If I was Richard I would tell the teacher what really happen. I think Richard feels really bad. Today is music so make sure you check out Mr. Louis' website.
