Take a look at the poem Mixtapes on the Poetry In Voice website. Create your own Mixtape around a theme that is important to you, form poems on the Poetry In Voice website or any source (but be sure to cite the author and where you found the poem).
Write Your Own Poetry
Write 1-3 original poems using prompts from the Poetry In Voice website: https://poetryinvoice.ca/write . Once your poems are written, you can submit them for publication! You can enter the PIV monthly poetry prize contest: https://poetryinvoice.ca/write/get-published and/or submit to their journal, Voices: https://poetryinvoice.ca/write/poetry-journal. You might even be lucky enough to be invited to the FutureVerse program in April: https://poetryinvoice.ca/write/futureverse .
