Interdisciplinary Science Emphasis

Courses: You need a minimum of 4 science courses in addition to Biology CP or H with a satisfactory grade of C or better.

As we roll out the program, points required may change. Currently, the points required are as follows:

Class of 2024 - 18 pts in CEOs

Class of 2025 and beyond - 20 pts in CEOs

The following lists are areas you can earn CEO points (point values may change to reflect equity and fairness as we receive more feedback).

Campus Community Connections

(4 pts max / year)

(8 pts max over 4 years)

Clubs (1pt) Active participation attending greater than 50% of the meetings.

Active club officer (2pts)

Science or Math center Tutor (2pt per semester)

CEP Peer Mentor (1pt)

Career/Service Learning

(6 pts max / year)

* Needs to be approved by Emphasis Lead Teacher

All CEOs must be verified by an advisor or teacher

Career Activities:

(6 pts max / year)

Projects and Presentations:

Art project related to the emphasis (1pt)
Essay related to the emphasis (1pt)
Project or presentation related to the emphasis that was done in a non-science class. (1pt)
Article in the school paper (1pts)

All CEOs must be verified by an advisor or teacher using the verification form.
