8:15-8:20 Opening - Attendance, Daily Routines, Flag Salute, Class Songs, Story Time
8:20-8:30 Whole Group Instruction - Shared/Guided Reading, Phonics Instruction, Workshop Center Exploration
8:30-9:25 Workshop (Literacy Centers) - Small group/independent academic center rotations. Each day, every child will visit one small group lesson with the teacher and two independent centers with a partner. The workshop center rotations take four days to complete all twelve weekly center activities. Fun Fridays: Three special group centers. Independent centers are supervised by parent volunteers and classroom aide.

9:30-9:50 Snack Time, Potty Break and Recess
9:50-11:05 Sharing, Calendar, Math, Language Arts
11:05-11:50 Lunch and Recess
11:50-1:00 Science, Social Studies, Free Play, Movement, Music, Art, Games, Small Group Activities
1:00-1:15 Clean-Up and Pack-Up
1:20 Dismissal
