Create a New Page

Customizing your website can set your business apart from the competition, so feel free to add new pages to your Roomvo Site anytime! Please reach out to your Website Account Specialist if you require assistance with these steps, and we'd be happy to help you get started.

Instructions

• Login to the Roomvo PRO Dashboard

• Enter your email address to receive a secure access code 

• Once logged in, select the Roomvo Sites tab in the left menu 

• Select Modify Website Content to enter the CMS

• After entering the CMS, select Pages in the left menu 

• Next to your site’s name at the top of the page, select the Home icon

Your website is made from a collection of "Parent pages" and "Child pages." You'll often find Parent pages in the website's main menu, on the top level (like website.com/products, for example). Child pages exist deeper in your website's navigation, within Parent pages (such as website.com/products/cabinets).

To add a new page, you'll need to decide where you'd like it to exist on the website, as a parent or child page.
 

• To add a Parent page, navigate to the green bar at the top, and select + Add Child Page

• To add a Child page, navigate to the Parent page you'd like it to exist within, and select + Add Child Page

• Choose the type of page you'd like to create. We recommend selecting Content Page for most uses.

• Enter a Title for your page. To add content, see Edit Page Content.

Select the Promote tab to enter the following details:

• Slug: This will appear in the URL of your new page (for example, mywebsite.com/slug)

• Meta Description: Enter a description to make your page more SEO friendly

• Show in Menus: Checking this box will allow your page to appear in your website's menu

• Menu Item Title: Enter the text you'd like to appear in the menu

• Select Publish to save your changes
