The mission of the Winkley Elementary School Counseling program is to provide a comprehensive counseling program, incorporating academic, career, personal and social development of all students. Through the counseling program, students will develop life-long leadership skills that empower them to soar to their fullest potential.

My services include classroom guidance lessons that teach skills in three domains as recommended by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) national standards: academic, career, and personal-social. I also work with students individually or in small groups to focus on problem-solving and student success. Another important role is meeting with parents and teachers to provide consultation or collaborative services for student planning.
