Greetings!
My name is Collin Fletcher, and I am honored to serve as one of the assistant principals here at the amazing Vandegrift High School. I specifically work with student last names Map through Sam, but am happy to assist anyone!
I have 20 years of experience in education, having taught a variety of subjects including History, Reading Intervention, College and Career Readiness, and Creative Problem Solving. This is my ninth year as an assistant principal, and my third year at Vandegrift. I truly love getting to work with the best students, staff, and parents!
I graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Theatre and earned my masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
My passions as a leader include fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, meeting social and emotional needs of others, providing instructional leadership and support, and encouraging a growth mindset.
On a personal note, I am a proud husband and dad. My wife Allison also works in Leander ISD, and I have two children (Genevieve and Wes) in the district. In our family, we value and honor the promise of public education. I couldn't imagine doing anything else for a living!
Like I said, if you need anything I am happy to assist. Feel free to swing by my office, or I’ll be seeing you around campus and at events.
All the Very Best, and Go Vipers!
