The deadline to order a 2025 yearbook to ensure delivery is May 1
The 2025 Veteran yearbooks are on sale online until May 1 unless sold out. We will receive them mid May to distribute. Contact jessica.stamp@leanderisd.org with questions/concerns. Order your yearbook online at www.jostens.com (or directly here) and then search for the Vandegrift school store August - May. Yearbooks are $65 from August - Dec. 31. Price increases to $70 on Jan. 1, 2025. Last day to purchase a personalized yearbook (name stamped on front cover) is March 3, 2025. No extras will be ordered due to the cost of production. A waitlist is available here.
Distribution will begin in May with seniors
Students will need to their distribution ticket with QR code to room 1617 to pick up their order before school, during PIT, or after school during the week of distribution. They will not be able to pick up the yearbook during class time. The students can pick up yearbooks for friends if absolutely necessary and may pick up for a sibling. They will have to have the email with QR code for their pick up.
After May 16, to pick up, the student will need to make an appointment with Ms. Stamp jessica.stamp@leanderisd.org
Before you write in your book
- Make sure there are 340 pages with the cover attached properly
- Check that there are no torn pages, smeared pages, discolored pages, or pages inserted upside down
- If you discover any of these flaws in printing, BEFORE you write in your book, bring it back and we can replace it. Once you have written in the book, we CANNOT replace or refund it.
- Make sure you have the supplement and any other accessories you ordered.
Put your name in your book
After checking for torn, upside down or missing pages, put your name in your book. We are saddened when books disappear, but we cannot replace lost or stolen books. A replacement book will cost $80, IF there are any overruns available. Please be careful not to leave your book laying around.
Why wasn’t that covered?
Vandegrift has had an exciting last few weeks and many things to celebrate! We are so proud of our track team, robotics team, golf teams, and all other spring sports and UIL academic championships! However, our yearbook went to press at the beginning of March before these events happened so that we could get it back and pass it out in May. Sometimes yearbooks will cover these activities in the beginning of the following year's book. The yearbook staff chooses what to cover and highlight and strives to be as comprehensive as possible in documenting the year.
About the mistakes...
Believe us, we have already found them or heard about them, and we are so sad about it. Remember, this is a student created publication, made by imperfect Vipers. We try and make every effort to produce a quality, accurate account of the year, but a few mistakes are bound to happen along the way. At this time, there is nothing that we can do. Instead, please focus on all the amazing things this student project has to offer!

Senior yearbook ads - final deadline to purchase a senior ad AND submit pictures is Nov. 15.
SENIORS! Take your senior portrait over the summer or first semester!
Photo Texas will be on campus Oct. 22 and Dec. 1-5 and Dec. 10 ONLY to take your portrait in the library or small lecture hall.
Sign up for the on-campus dates here. A link will be posted closer to the dates.
Your portrait must be taken by winter break to for sure to be included in the yearbook. Visit the Senior Portrait info page to the left to sign up for a time slot when open or to read the FAQ.
If you would prefer to visit the Photo Texas Studio and pass on the on-campus option, call Photo Texas at 512-617-7780 to schedule an appointment. NOTE: As we approach the deadline, appointments may be limited!
If you take your portrait on or off campus, please make sure that those preferring a tux wear a white tee (Photo Texas will provide the tux), those preferring the drape wear a tank, something you can push the shoulders down on (Photo Texas will provide the drape). If neither of these works, students can wear formal black.
If you have any questions about senior portraits let me know and I'll be happy to help you! The best way to reach me is email - jessica.stamp@leanderisd.org
PhotoTexas Student Portraits will be on campus for retakes Oct. 22
Students can take their school portrait with PhotoTexas during the first semester by scheduling an appointment at their studio - call (512) 617-7780 to schedule an appointment.
For convenience, PhotoTexas will come to campus Sept. 10 & 11 to take portraits of students during their science class. Seniors will only take their ID picture and must schedule with PhotoTexas their senior portrait separately.
Retakes for student portraits are scheduled for Oct. 22. If a student could not make any of the on-campus dates, they MUST schedule to take a portrait at the PhotoTexas studio on their own. All pictures must be taken by winter break to ensure they are included in the yearbook.
The PhotoTexas order link for Vandegrift is here.

Senior portrait information is in the left hand menu.
PhotoTexas Clubs & Organizations group pictures are on campus Dec. 4, Jan. 2 & Feb. 12
Club and organization sponsors and officers can sign their group up for a time slot in on one of the three dates to take a yearbook photo. The pictures will be taken simultaneously by 3-4 photographers, so similar clubs with the same members (e.g. Science Bowl and Science Club) should NOT sign up at the same time. The groups can wear their t-shirts or gear and bring trophies, props, etc. Arrive early and on time to your slot during PIT in the main gym. Because of the time crunch, the photographers cannot wait on members. If a member is absent, there will not be retakes.

Google Classroom Resources
Parents and Guardians,
Ask your student for an invitation to join our Google Classroom for 2024-25 as a Guardian in order to receive important classroom information. All you need to do is share your preferred email address with your student in order for them to send you an invitation.
What does this mean exactly? When guardians join a student’s Google Classroom, they receive regular, automatic email summaries. Guardians choose the frequency of the emails—daily or weekly—and can unsubscribe at any time.
Guardian email summaries include:
Missing work—Work that’s late at the time the email was sent
Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or work that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails)
Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers
Thanks for supporting your student and joining our Google Classroom to receive daily or weekly email summaries!
