Your service time should be something above and beyond what you normally do. For example, mowing your own yard or babysitting your siblings is not considered service. In addition, if you make money for your time, this is not considered service.

Assist adults providing childcare or teaching younger children during religious services
Play with animals at the Texas Humane Heroes
Serve as a "buddy" for young baseball players in the Miracle League
Help prepare meals for Mobile Loaves & Fishes
Assist at hospice or nursing homes
Participate in any "fun run" that raises money for causes
 Volunteer to help at sporting events (line judge, runner, etc)
Volunteer at the Cedar Park or Leander Public Library - go to their website or ask in person
School functions
Guide new students at orientation activities
Welcome Stiles 6th graders at Spartan Camp
Assist teachers with classroom setup before school starts
Help the office staff organize school supplies before the school year begins
Ask a Stiles or Akin/Parkside teacher if he or she needs assistance during the school year
Neighbors/Neighborhood
Care for a neighbor's pet for free
Read the newspaper or a book aloud to an elderly neighbor
Clean up a park or your neighborhood
Run a lemonade stand and give the money to charity
Participate in church/youth group activities
