What is QUEST?
QUEST is an acronym for Quality Utilization and Enrichment of Student Talents. QUEST-G/T provides gifted services designed to meet the needs of students who excel or show potential to excel in high general intellectual ability which is one of the areas of giftedness defined by the State of Texas.
What do QUEST students learn?
The curriculum taught in QUEST is structured in a spiraling curriculum from K-12th grade focusing on these key areas:
Creative Thinking - what they are and how they are used to enhance learning.
Critical Thinking - what they are and how they apply to solving, making, and more in-depth learning.
Research - what they are, how they are used to explore issues and problems, and how finding or results are presented or reported to others.
Communication - in written and spoken to become effective communicators for a of audiences and purposes.
