Please allow me to introduce myself. I have been a teacher since 1991, when I received a degree in Middle School Education with a focus in Science. This is my seventh year as one of the QUEST teachers at Rutledge and my tenth year working in QUEST for LISD. Previously, I taught in both public and private schools, varying from preschool to 9th grade.
I have been married to my soulmate, Paul, for 33 years and we are blessed to have three children: Luke, Noah and Chloe and three grandchildren, Brecken, Brody and Zoey. I am also the proud owner of a crazy rescue dog, Adamina (though one could argue that she owns me). When I am not teaching, I can be seen visiting with my grandkids, making pottery, hanging out on the lake, traveling, bird watching, scrapbooking photo albums, crafting with recyclables or painting on wood. My word for the 2025-2026 school year is ADAPTABLE. I can't wait to see what adventures we take together this year in the 4th grade Inquiry Lab and in QUEST!
Welcome to Quest! I am Mrs. Lehman and I am so excited to be your teacher this year. This is my 16th year to teach and my 9th year at Rutledge. My husband’s name is Scottie and I have 2 sons, Cameron and Cooper. My oldest son is a Senior at Texas A&M. My youngest son is a sophomore at Texas Tech. Both of my kids grew up at Rutledge so this is home to us! I look forward to meeting you and to having an amazing year!
Hello! My name is Mr. T. I am a current college student pursuing a major in Graphic Design.
My passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as I've spent the past 20 years in martial arts, eight of them teaching as a competition coach guiding students to state, national, and even world championship titles.
I started LISD as a substitute teacher and now I am thrilled to be part of the QUEST program as an Instructional Assistant!
