What should I be doing to prepare for high school?

1. Utilize Naviance for 4 year planning and career interest inventories (located in Leander Launchpad).

Naviance is a comprehensive website that students can use as a tool in planning for their future. It includes personality profiles, career interest inventories, college comparison information, tools and other helpful resources. Explore Naviance in order to:

• Create a four year high school plan that fulfills your Graduation Plan and Endorsement Area.

• Research careers - take career and interest surveys to learn about careers that may be a good fit.

• Research colleges - Browse by location, majors, costs, size.  Create personalized lists for further investigation.

2. Review previous webinars for helpful information. 

3. Attend Future Exploration night.

4. Complete 4 year plan and finalize course requests for 9th grade.
