Hi, y’all! My name is Jade Gonzaba, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I'm currently going into my seventh year of teaching seventh grade... at the school where I went to middle school. Crazy, right?!

Here’s a little bit about me:
I graduated from Texas State University with my bachelor’s degree and from Concordia University with my master’s. I am a full-blown fantasy book fanatic — Throne of Glass isn’t just a series to me, it’s a lifestyle. I’m also a proud, die-hard Slytherin who has read the Harry Potter series more times than I can count! If you see me tearing up over a fictional death or wide-eyed at a plot twist… just know it’s normal.

I’m also the 8th grade volleyball coach and the yearbook advisor here at RBMS. I’ve coached club volleyball and school teams for the past four years, so if I’m not in the classroom or in a book, I’m probably on the court or planning the yearbook spread.

This year is going to be an adventure worthy of its own novel — and I can’t wait to start chapter one with you.
