All About Me

Hi. My name is Cynthia Sokoff, and I am so excited return to the Running Brushy community as an ELA teacher this year. 

I am a lifelong Texan, born and raised in San Antonio. I came to Austin to go to UT and I never left. 

I went to the University of Texas for undergrad, and I earned my master's degree from Texas State. I have been teaching English and reading in middle school since before the turn of the century!

My husband Brian and I have four kids. We have always had a child (or more than one) in sports, so we know what it is like to be weekend warriors. In my spare time I love to read and travel.
