6th Grade requirements

• 4 Core Classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies)

• 1 PE (PE, Pre-Athletics, or Dance)

• 3 Electives (at least one semester must be a Fine Art class) 

Teachers follow the state-mandated TEKS-based curriculum and utilize research-based teaching methods focusing on comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis of subject area content processes and skills.

6th Grade will also receive numerical grades for their work.  It's important that students and parents view Home Access Center starting in 6th grade to note student academic performance.
