Options for  Non- Medical Extended Absences

 Important Attendance Information

• There are no set number of absences "allowed" during a school year.

• Absences due to travel are considered unexcused

• After 3 unexcused absences, families will begin receiving automated truancy notices from the district. These are system-generated and are not controlled by our campus. 

• Students who reach 18 total absences (excused or unexcused) may be required to make up instructional time through additional assignments or community service hours.
