All Kindergarten students will be taught enrichment lessons during October and November. Following that, all Kindergarten students are screened for QUEST in January. Official QUEST classes for any qualifying Kinder students will begin in March.
Parents, please complete the General Intellectual Scale (GIS) and return it to your child's teacher as soon as possible. This is a screening measure we utilize to allow parents to give input on their children as learners. Thank you for your cooperation!
Parents will be personally notified of results only if the child moves on from screening to testing.
Kindergarten:
October - In-class enrichment lessons
November - In-class enrichment lessons
January - screening begins
February - screening and testing
March - qualifying students begin classes
**Qualifying for QUEST is a process and will continue into the next grade levels as well.
