I am honored to have the opportunity to teach in the QUEST program at Parkside Elementary School (Go Mustangs!). I have a degree in education from Texas State University. This is my sixth year at Parkside and my tenth year teaching QUEST. My husband and I have three daughters (Gia, 12, Scarlett, 15 and Sienna, 17). When I am not at school, you may find me kayaking, gardening, reading, or just relaxing with my family. QUEST is such a special place, and I am eager to help students reach their potential in the QUEST classroom as well as in their general education classrooms.
Hey mustangs! I'm super excited to be one of your QUEST teachers this year! I graduated from The University of Texas (Hook 'em horns!) with a degree in Applied Learning and Development and a minor in English. After teaching for a year, I went back to school and completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas State. I am currently a Doctoral Student at The University of Alabama!
My husband and I have 3 awesome kids.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, shopping, crafting, but we're usually watching the kids play sports!
We're going to have a great year and I'm so thankful to spend it with you!
I am so excited to have the opportunity to assist in the QUEST classroom at Parkside Elementary School (Go Mustangs!). Both of my children (Joseph 17 and Helaina 13) started in Kindergarten here at Parkside so this school holds a special place in my heart. I have a degree in psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and I love everything Longhorn especially football and baseball. Hook 'Em Horns!! This is my third year at Parkside, I was previously the teaching assistant in the library. When I am not at school, you may find me walking with my husband Andy and our sweet dog Shadow, watching my son play Rouse baseball, or watching our daughter in a dance performance. I look forward to seeing all of our QUEST students and helping with all of your fun projects!
