Yearly Requirements
Yearly requirements - If you do not do the following, you are not authorized to wear the corde tri-colore at graduation:
Students must remain in good standing, both academically and disciplinary. Any Honor Code violation will result in exit from the organization.
Students must miss no more than two meetings without good reason
Students must complete at least three "French Points" each semester.
French Points
What are "French Points"?
"French Points" are activities aimed at improving your understanding of the French language and culture. To remain in NFHS and receive your NFHS cord upon graduation, each member must complete at least three (3) French Points each semester.
French Points can include:
Watching a French language film
Attending a French language or culture event
Cooking French food
Volunteering at a French organization
Volunteering at an NFHS event
Tutoring other French students
If you have something in mind that isn't listed above, ask an officer to get it approved!
