REFER A CHILD FOR THE QUEST PROGRAM:
Does your Knowles Elementary student possess some of these common characteristics of gifted children (source: What is Giftedness?)?
Ability to comprehend material several grade levels above his/her age peers
Surprising emotional depth and sensitivity at a young age
Strong sense of curiosity
Enthusiastic about unique interests and topics
Quirky or mature sense of humor
Creative problem solving and imaginative expression
Absorbs information quickly with few repetitions needed
Self-aware, socially aware, and aware of global issues
These may be indicators that the QUEST program could be beneficial to your child. If you feel that your child may have an educational need for gifted services, please complete the forms at the links below to be screened for the GT QUEST program for the 2025-2026 school year. Notification of spring testing results will be emailed to parents by the last day of school for the 2025-26 school year. Students who qualify for the program after spring semester testing will begin QUEST classes beginning in the fall of 2026.
Students can currently be referred for QUEST testing that will take place during the 2026 Spring semester only. There is no longer a fall QUEST testing window.
Referrals are due March 1, 2026.

GT Referral Form *Needs to be completed by all referring parents and teachers.
General Intellectual Scale *Needs to be completed by all referring parents and teachers.
Parent Referral Survey *Needs to be completed by all referring parents (not teachers)!
