About Me

Welcome!!!

I have been in education for a total of 12 years. I am in my 13th year this year, 2022-2023. I have worked for Leander ISD for 8 years and prior to that I was in Houston ISD. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Georgia and a Master's of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. I am an advocate for all students on our campus and am devoted to help them succeed both academically and emotionally. I thrive on helping others, especially children, so serving students, while supporting the teachers and the RPE community is a joy for me!

I am originally from Austin and I am thankful to live in such a beautiful area, so rich in culture! I have been married for three years. My husband is a 5th grade math and science teacher for LTISD and he too loves serving his students. We live in the Dripping Springs area and have a German Shorthaired Pointer named Remington and a Golden Retriever named Lexi. They both keep us active and motivates us to visit all of the various hiking trails in our area. I come from a small family, who also live in the Austin area. My husband and I are a proud aunt and uncle to our three nieces and soon a nephew, who also live close by, so we are lucky and get to have family time often! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, hiking our hill country trails, photography, cooking (a foodie), drawing, traveling, and going to small music venues to enjoy local artists.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and I look forward to learning more about you.
