About Me

This is my fifth year at Henry Middle School! After subbing in Leander ISD for 5 years, I knew teaching was the path I needed to take. I returned to Texas State University-Round Rock (Go Bobcats!) and obtained my Master's Degree in Education.

I grew up in Beaumont, Texas and after high school I headed to San Marcos, TX where I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from Texas State University (Go Bobcats!). After spending some time in Dallas, I chose to move to Cedar Park and teach for LISD because I truly believe LISD is an amazing school district. I obtained my Masters in Education in 2021.I am so excited to continue my teaching journey here at Henry Middle School (Go Hawks!). 

Seventeen years ago, I married my high school sweetheart, Daniel. We have three wonderful children! Darin who is going into 11th grade at CPHS, Vivian who will be going into 8th grade at CPMS, and Benjamin who will be going into 6th grade at CPMS. They keep me busy and on my toes! We love to spend time outdoors swimming, running, and having picnics. We love our Friday evenings for Friday Night Lights cheering on the band and football team. Saturday evenings we reserve for Movie Nights and when I have downtime I can be found crafting handmade cards, reading, or crocheting!

We have the best dogs (Alex and Annabelle), cat (Twilight), and fish (a whole aquarium!). 

I can’t wait to to learn more about you throughout the year. We are going to LEARN so much, have loads of fun, and make many friendships and memories.
