CPHS News

MISSION

The mission of CPHS News is to tell stories of the CPHS community that inspire and provoke thought.

WHO ARE WE

CPHS News is the unified news group of both Cedar Park High School’s broadcast and newspaper program.

The Wolfpack newspaper began in 1998 and grew into an online news source in 2010. In 2004, CPHS-TV launched with its flagship broadcast, the Wolfcast. Then in 2017, both groups began operating under the CPHS News brand to provide students, teachers and parents one go-to source for all things Cedar Park High School.

Since then, CPHS News continues to engage with an audience of more than 3,000 students, teachers and parents through our smartphone app, website, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram.

CPHS News consists of a staff of 42 broadcast and newspaper students. We strive to tell the many diverse stories of Cedar Park High School while also providing our audience with relevant and important information they can use. This includes the accomplishments and events of CPHS’ academic groups, sports teams, clubs and other extracurricular organizations.

VISION

The vision of CPHS News is to engage our audience in innovative ways that keep them coming back for more.
