TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
To be successful in my class, students need to engaged in the period. If students take care of business during their designated class time, they will not have homework assigned. The things that may be done at home would include finishing work or studying/preparing for a test or project.
As a teacher, I incorporate technology as much as possible. Students will need their charged device in class each day. Students will also need a writing utensil, paper, and a folder for handouts. Almost all materials needed for class will be available on their respective google classrooms.
Tutorials are offered on Wednesday and Friday mornings beginning at 7:45 am.
The Grading Policy is as follows:
*Students may retake/redo 1 quiz or test per 6 weeks, it will be an alternative version to the original
*Late work due to absences- students will be given the amount of days they were absent to turn in upon return without penalty. I.E. if they were out one day, they will get one additional day to turn in.
*Late work not due to absences will receive a 10 point penalty for each day it is late. Work will not be accepted once a week has passed from the deadline.
*Extra credit is not offered
