About Mr. Janzen

Hey, I'm Mr. Janzen! This is my 7th year at LMS and my 3rd year teaching 8th grade math and algebra 1. I didn't start out as a math lover and slowly got more interested through high school and in my life after college. Math can feel like a fun puzzle, and I use it in my hobbies all the time. My secret goal is to get you guys to appreciate math, too!

I have two very sweet dogs who love to go on adventures with me. I also garden, read, and build stuff in my free time.

I can't wait to get to know you all better this year!
