Grading Policy

65% - Assessments

Tests are weighted 1.5x more than quizzes

35% - Daily/Class Work/Homework

Late Work Policy

Assignments will be accepted late, but will receive a grade no higher than 80%.

After the unit test, NO assignments from that unit will be accepted.

Assignments may be corrected for a higher grade. (See below)

Steps to correct an assignment:

NUMBER each missed problem in order.
SHOW ALL WORK to correct the problem and include the right answer.
Submit on the form provided by your teacher.

Grade Improvement Opportunities

You have the opportunity to improve ANY grade within 5 days of it being returned to you. More information below.

Assessments

(Quizzes and Tests)

You have FIVE SCHOOL DAYS to complete test corrections and test retakes. The 5 days begin on the day that your graded test is handed back to you.

You must attend tutorials to go over your corrections in order to retake!

You may get help from your classmates, parents, or teacher (please make an appointment). However, make sure YOU understand your errors enough to explain them clearly.

You can earn up to 5 points for making corrections and completing the Correction Form.

You can earn up to an 80% on the assessment retake.

Homework and Daily Assignments

You have until the end of the current unit to complete corrections.
