Auditions take place on in March from 7:00 am - 8:30 am each day. You MUST come to ALL 3 DAYS to become a Tigerette and be prompt.
Need to attend tutorials? You must communicate to your teacher that you are unavailable due to auditions and find another time to attend to make up your missed work.
What do I wear to Tigerette tryouts?
Dance clothes and either jazz shoes or tennis shoes.
What if I don't come to tryouts? Can I still join the dance team?
No. You MUST come consistently every day in order to get your name on the roster. Need to attend tutorials? You must communicate to your teacher that you are unavailable due to auditions and find another time to attend to make up your missed work
What is the uniform fitting and its details?
In April we have our uniform fitting which consists of trying all ALL practice wear, uniform, shoes, etc, for sizes. A female adult must accompany the Tigerette.
IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND THE UNIFORM FITTING, you will be taken off the Tigerettes roster.
You will sign up for a 30-minute time block for the fitting to fit your schedule between the times of 4:30pm - 6:00pm.
Payment is due in full at this time.
What/When is Summer camp?
The Tigerettes attend a mandatory Line Camp in mid-July (historically, it is the THIRD WEEK IN JULY). This training camp is where Tigerettes learn every performance for the Fall Season, and every pep rally performance for the year. During line camp, Tigerettes have the opportunity to train with a variety of instructors in different dance techniques. We will continue to work on these routines during other scheduled rehearsals before school starts. All 8 middle schools in Leander ISD attend this summer line camp.
