2017-2018 UIL Social Studies High School Topic: In the Shadow of the Red Bear: Russia and the former Soviet Union

UIL Social Studies is a great way for students highly interested in History and Government to compete for academic scholarships.
In order to be eligible to compete at the District qualifying meet, students are expected to:
- attend meetings at school
- read the selected book for the current topic
- participate in at least one practice meet (Saturdays at local high schools) and at least one virtual (online) practice meet
