Can’t Login to Laptop?
If you have a school laptop that has not checked in with the network for an extended period of time, action is likely needed to get your laptop back in sync with our systems.
To resolve login issues that are laptop related instead of account related, drive to any LISD campus and park in a location that LISD WiFi is available. Your best bet is to be as close to the building as possible and in areas that house classrooms. Reboot your computer while connected to the network. That will resolve login issue for most students. Please note that “unlocking” your computer is not rebooting and will not resolve this issue.
How do I know if my login issue is related to my laptop or to my account?
Try to log into your LISD Gmail account on another computer or phone. If that works, you most likely have a laptop issue.
What can I do if a reboot on network does not fix my issue?
First, make sure you can log into your account on your phone or another device.
Second, call the LISD Help Desk and they will either help you resolve over the phone or will create a ticket for LHS campus tech support. Tech support will then call to schedule curbside tech support with you. The Help Desk phone number is 512-570-1060.
