Technical Theatre 1

Technical Theatre 1 is an entry-level survey course in which students learn more about what theatre is as a whole, and all of the technical elements that go into creating a theatrical performance. Units include Scenic Design, Lighting, Sound, Props, Costume Design & Construction, Makeup, Stage Management, and Marketing. This class uses project-based learning to give students a sample of what careers exist in technical theatre through hands-on arts and crafts activities.
