Solo & Ensemble 2026
Mrs. Wallace Studio Rectial 26
Mr. Ojedas Studio Recital 26
Students and families will receive their assigned voice teacher’s contact information, including preferred methods of communication, at the beginning of lessons.
During lessons, teachers will focus part of the lesson on establishing good technique through vocal exercises. The remaining portion of the lesson will focus on repertoire, such as region repertoire, Solo and Ensemble songs, choir solos, and private lesson songs.
Solo scores and tracks will be provided by the voice teacher. Students may also be sent, and are encouraged to find, recordings of their songs performed by professional singers to use as models for good tone and musicality.
Students are responsible for bringing their music, a bottle of water, and a pencil to each lesson.
Parents/guardians are expected to ensure payment is received in a timely manner and to encourage students to practice outside of lessons.
Please check your email regularly for any changes to billing or scheduling. If you would like to cancel lessons for your child, please contact the student’s voice teacher so the next month’s invoice can be canceled. Students are expected to complete the current month of lessons.
Lessons follow the academic calendar for the student’s campus.
If you know your student will miss a lesson, please contact the student’s voice teacher the day before. In the case of illness, please notify the teacher that same day before 8:00 a.m.
Missed lessons with proper notice will be refunded or credited to the next month. If a lesson is missed without appropriate notice, it will be considered an unexcused absence and the lesson will be charged as normal.
Lessons canceled by the instructor will not be billed and should be reflected as such in that month’s invoice. If there is an unforeseen school closure, bad weather, irregular bell schedule, or instructor illness, families will be notified as soon as possible and offered a refund or lesson credit.
Lessons are 30 minutes long. Rates range from $22–35 per lesson, depending on the voice teacher’s experience.
Invoicing schedules and payment methods will be communicated by your student’s voice teacher. All payments are generally made monthly, but an alternate payment plan may be arranged with the voice teacher prior to the beginning of lessons, if requested.
Failure to pay by the end of the current month may result in suspension of lessons.
