Early Dismissal

Phone Calls are NOT accepted for early dismissals.

Ways for students to request a permit to leave early:

The BEST way for a student to request a permit to leave is to bring in a parent/guardian note to the Attendance Window before school starts at 8:15 AM.
Submit a parent/guardian email/note to ghsattendance@leanderisd.org BEFORE 10:30 AM.
The parent/guardian can come to the Front Office to check the student out. For this, a photo ID must be provided.
Students must have proper documentation and approval to leave campus.

For all notes, please provide the following:

Student's Name
Student's ID number
Student's Grade
Time of dismissal
Reason for dismissal

Students must sign in/out at the Attendance Window when they leave/return to campus.

Glenn High School is Not an Open Campus. Students must have a parent note submitted before school requesting an early dismissal for a specified date. Students are not allowed to leave for lunch, any student who leaves without proper documentation and approval, will be addressed by the students designated Assistant Principal.
