FSMS Tech Support

Staff and students, here are the following ways you can receive technology support:

1)  Enter a help ticket yourself: You can enter your request directly by going to https://leanderisd.incidentiq.com and I will contact you.

2) Bring your laptop to the library during school hours. 

3) Call the Help Desk at (512) 570-0566 during normal business hours.

mLISD Payment and Collection Information: 

The payment window is now open for families to secure their students’ district-provided laptops. If current students pay they will be able to keep their laptops over the summer for no additional charge. Current 5th graders may also pay in advance to prepare for the deployment of their Chromebook, which will occur at the beginning of the next school year. 

Current 8th grade students who pay the 2024-2025 mLISD non-refundable security deposit will receive new laptops on May 21 

Price structure for the 2024-2025 school year:

High School Students:  $60.00 per year 

Middle School Students:  $40.00 per year

Students who receive free & reduced meals:  $0  (Registration is required  through our online store, currently EdPay, or submission of a signed acceptance form)

Device structure for the 2024-2025 school year:

6th and 7th grade: Lenovo 500e Chromebook (current 6th graders will keep the same device)

8th, 11th, 12th  grade: Lenovo 11e Windows laptop (current 7th graders will keep the same device)

9th and 10th grade: Lenovo 13W Windows laptop

Payment methods:

A) Debit/credit cards through the mLISD website 

B) Cash payment and parent agreement form (Exact change only.  Checks not accepted)

C) Hardship Scholarship form - email to Debbie.Clack@leanderisd.org

If the non-refundable security deposit is not paid by May 20 the device and charger will be collected at the following times:

8th grade: May 21 during ELA class period

6th and 7th grade: May 22 during ELA class period

Failure to return a Lenovo brand charger with the laptop will result in a $40 lost charger fine. 

Charger fines can be cleared by:

1. Return the charger to the Technology Office

2. Pay cash, exact change (no checks) to the Stiles Middle School Technology Office

3. Pay by credit card at the LISD store catalog (forward payment confirmation email to Christina.Harrison@leanderisd.org ) 

What happens if I don’t pay the 2024-2025 non-refundable security deposit by May 20th? Students will return their laptop and charger on May 21 or 22.  We will offer limited laptop distribution for students on May 23rd only for those who pay May 21-22. Students will be issued a different laptop than they had all year.  For payments received May 23 and beyond, the laptops will be distributed in August.
