If a student has been marked absent in error, it is the student's responsibility to email the Teacher within 3 days and request a correction.
The student should include:
Student’s Full Name (birth/legal name)
Student ID Number
Date/Period they were incorrectly marked absent
The Attendance Office is unable to correct attendance until we have received confirmation, via email, from the Teacher requesting the change.
Please allow 3-4 days after email confirmation is received for the absence code to be updated.
Students should monitor their absences in the LISD Home Access Center (HAC) for accuracy.
