Mrs. Blanden

A little about Mrs. Blanden...

Hello! I am 29 years young, and I moved from Kentucky to Texas in the summer of 2017! I just got married last summer to my husband, Spencer! We have two wonderful doodles, Watson & Leo. They love people and never miss a chance to play fetch. I love my gym family and working daily to be the best version of myself! I also enjoy traveling, painting, and being outdoors.

In December of 2013, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education K-5 from Northern Kentucky University. Through NKU I was able to student teach abroad in Perth, Australia. I started teaching in 2014, and added a love for IB in 2017.

Thank you for allowing your child to be apart of the Mason community! We are going to grow and learn together, and have an amazing year!

Mrs. Bonham

ABOUT MRS. BONHAM... ..I moved to Texas in 2010, a LONG WAY from where I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. I graduated from Nazareth College and joined the AmeriCorps which inspired my adventures in travel, volunteer service and education. After several years of exploring the US, Caribbean and Europe, I received my Master’s degree in Childhood Education and jumped at the opportunity to move to Austin in my continued pursuit of happiness, sunshine, music and of course, teaching! I knew CC Mason was the place for me when I got hired to teach Kindergarten in 2011 and made it all the way to 5th grade the following year.

I am the proudest mama to Maisy Belle and always try to live life to the fullest!

I thank my lucky stars every single day to be working alongside the greatest educators and administrators in the business. I look forward to partnering with you to make the most rewarding school experience for our kiddos! Especially during these most uncertain times!

Mrs. Diamond

Meet Mrs. Diamond!

I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. It was a wonderful place to experience rich, diverse connections with many cultures, teachers, and peers. I attended Skyline High School, the first magnet school in the nation. There, my eyes opened to all the promises of higher education. I earned a BA in Psychology from TCU, and a Masters in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Over the years, I have been an educator, an advocate of early detection and intervention, and a provider of individualized instruction for all of my students.

For five years I worked as a professional Child Development Specialist. I specialized in working with children aged birth to three years who had developmental delays. My work in this field helped me to confirm and strengthen my already strong beliefs about childhood education, namely that all children can learn, and that all children need to be given the opportunity to learn.

On a personal note, I have been married for 26 years and have 3 children. All three of my children started here at CC Mason, then attended RBMS and are finishing up in Leander High School's IB program. My son, Carson, attends the University of Southern California studying Mechanical Engineering. My twin girls, Sloane and Kennedy, are seniors in the LHS IB Program.

Mrs. Passwater

I am a fifth grade teacher at C.C. Mason IB World School. I graduated from a small school in a suburb of Portland, Oregon in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education. From there I spent two years teaching at an international school in Malawi, Africa. It is a country and a culture that still holds a special place in my heart. In 2009 I moved to Texas and began working in fifth grade at Mason. I earned my Master's Degree from Concordia University at Austin in 2012.

Teaching has been my passion since I was little and I consider it a great privilege to be part of your child's life and education. I look forward to partnering with you to make your child's fifth grade year the best one yet.

Mrs. Rosin

My family and I moved here from California in the summer of 2019 and we've loved being here in Texas! I started teaching in 2006 (mostly 5th grade, but also some 6th, 7th, and 8th). I received my Bachelor's degree from Fresno State and received my Master's degree in English from Cal State, East Bay. I am currently working toward becoming Nationally Board Certified.

My husband, Derek, and I have two boys: Joey and Alex (both are Mason Mustangs!). We also have a French Bulldog, Gunny. In my spare time, I enjoy camping in my family's 5th wheel trailer, reading, and crafting.

Mrs. Singletary

WHO IS MRS. SINGLETARY?

I am originally from Texas but just moved back this Summer and I'm here to stay! I've lived in Louisiana for the past 10 years and brought back some good ole Cajun flair with me! I am so excited to be back in my beloved Lone Star State, where I was born and raised! I graduated from McNeese State University in December of 2015 and began my dream career in teaching right after.

I married my best friend in June of 2017 and we have since added two awesome boys to our family! Noah, who is almost two and Liam who was just born this past May! In addition to my awesome kiddos, I have an Australian Shepherd named, Cia (pronounced Sia) and two cats, Flynn and Juliette! Other than being your teacher, my favorite things to do are build/create just about anything DIY, watch my children grow, shop for a good deal, and visit the theater to catch the latest and greatest movie!

This school year will kick off my 5th year as an Educator. While I've taught several different grades/subjects, I'd have to say, I know 5th grade, and most importantly you guys, are going to make this the best year yet! I know that CC Mason is the place for me and I look forward to making this school year the best we've ever had, with you by my side!
