The mission of the Leander ISD Counseling Services Department is to provide a proactive and comprehensive counseling program which fosters academic, personal/social, and career development for all students.
Counseling Services partners with educators, parents/guardians and community members to ensure all students in Leander ISD are prepared with the knowledge and skills to contribute at the highest level as productive members of society.

Important Announcement Regarding Upcoming 4th & 5th Grade Puberty Lesson on March 8, 2024:
Leander ISD 4th grade students are about to study an important lesson on the early stages of puberty which some students may be beginning to experience. In order for students to participate, parents must complete an OPT-IN form for their child located on the following links:
Students will be separated by grade level and gender during these lessons. Mrs. LaManna (3rd-5th grade counselor) and Nurse Tamara will teach the girls. Mike Blackmon (Assistant Principal) and Coach Hafley will teach the boys.
