Typically by 8th grade, students use a TI-84 daily in their math classes. If you are interested in buying your own, it will be a great investment for 8th grade math and beyond (high school, college). Two Amazon links to the specific models that will work are below. You can also purchase them at Walmart, Target, Office Depot, etc.
Both of these versions have the exact same functionality. Obviously the colored screen is just easier to see, but either would be a great investment.
SPIRAL NOTEBOOK. It will be up to you to keep all of your math work organized. Use your notebook to record notes during our live lessons, while you are watching the notes videos, and to show your work for your practice.

DRY ERASE MARKERS. Using dry erase markers on our class set of white boards is always a student favorite!
LAPTOP. Make sure it is charged or charging so it can last for a full 90 minute class period.
OPTIONAL SUPPLIES: Highlighters.
